Nirvana Works. So you don't have to. Love what you do.
And you'll never work a day in your life. So, the saying goes. But how do you find your true calling? Your passion? What sparks joy for you?
Be yourself. Give yourself the space to show up exactly as you are. Identify what matters to you. Discover your values. Then find a position, place or company that celebrates you for who you are.
Don't let anything or anyone stop you.
But, most people fail because they're taught to fit the norm, to abide by corporate culture, to do what others do. They're taught to "show up" the way the corporate world wants them to.
What happens if you're part of a marginalized community? You erase yourself. That's what Sarathimeyyappan did.
Sarathimeyyappan Sakthivel (He/Him/His) is the Founder & Executive Happiness Coach of Nirvana Works. As an Indian American man, raised by South Indian parents in NYC, he struggled to fit in. But not only because of the color of his skin but also because of his affinity for leading with empathy, vulnerability, and softness.
In corporate America where the Cisgender Heterosexual White Man succeeds, so do the values of dominance and aggressiveness. So, he blended in, in more ways than one. By 30, during the height of the pandemic, he was offered 3 CFO positions with a base salary of up to half a million dollars, $500k. But he wasn't himself.
So, he quit. Now, he stands true to himself and loves what he does. Sarathimeyyappan self identifies as a Queen 👑, leading with equal parts sass, spunk, and smarts.
Succeed in your career without sacrificing yourself. Our coaches will show you how, especially catering to those from marginalized communities.
